Psychologist/Consultant/Speaker

It takes bees 156,000 hours to produce one teaspoon of honey! Yes, that’s a lot of effort but much more must happen to produce that special sweet result. Businesses want special results too. Ron talks with business owners, families, managers, and the professionals who work with them about communication, relationships, and productivity. He makes direct connections between increasing harmony, team performance, leadership, and profitability.

A psychologist in practice since 1975, Dr. Reece actively applies psychological principles and interventions as a private practitioner, consultant, and speaker. Ron delivers strong insights for understanding human motivation, interpersonal relationships, and organizational effectiveness. A particular area of specialty is family-owned enterprises.

Ron’s consultation with family and other closely held businesses helps them deal with the unique aspects of those close relationships, business demands, generational transitions, governance, and change management issues. He has facilitated conflict resolution processes, executive leadership development, team building and sibling partner alignment.

Ron is a Fellow of the Family Firm Institute and holds an Advanced Certificate in Family Business Advising. He is also a member of the following associations: American Psychological Association, South Carolina Psychological Association, and American Society of Clinical Hypnosis.

Ron is a frequent speaker and facilitator for a variety of USA local, regional, and national meetings.

A native of Greenville, SC, Ron is married to Tommie, and they have a son, Brad. Free time is spent being Grandude to four-year-old grandson Banks, playing tennis, motorcycling, creating bubbles in public places to help people smile, and in previous adventures – keeping bees or jumping out of an airplane.

"My work is meaningful and pleasurable enough to feel like play, so I always have the drive and desire to do more."
